OMG Helen Mirren is on my telly box right now looking way hot. Irish people watching the Late Late, her grey dress and red belt are the sex, no? She is my older woman idol. I aspire to the level of her hotness in my later years.
I went to look for the books for my assignments in the library and they're weren't there. Of course, totally Irish thing to do - put books down on a list for your students to read and the books aren't actually there. Unless someone else got there first, but I would rather believe in Irish stupidity first. Har.
Although, I have gained a new liking for Chaucer, despite my rant about The Canterbury Tales the other day. One of our lecturers for the Middle Ages course, Terry Dolan, is actually a close friend of Terry Jones. Yes, Terry Jones of Monty Python fame. Jones is entranced by Chaucer and he and my lecturer wrote a book together called Who Murdered Chaucer? It's very very good. Also, the same lecturer mentioned that JRR Tolkien came to UCD and founded one of our departments. Tolkien also based characters like Aragorn off of some of Chaucer's characters like the Knight.
My brother is doing exceptional today. That's literally what the nurses have said according to my mother. Very happy for him. I hope he's getting better for good now.
I did my top ten man crushes post a couple months back, I'm thinking about doing a girl crush post. It have discovered that it isn't just Freema Agyeman that I crush on. There are many more!
