'Neath a halo of a street lamp...

Yep. Here I am in the library again. I think I will actually finish my Greek essay today. Possibly even start into the Roman one. Luckily, the Greek one is about Odysseus, who was played brilliantly by Sean Bean in the not so brilliant film "Troy", so I can just think of him while I'm writing it.

I really like it in this library. It's all modern and streamlined but it's inside an old convent (there are many many convents around here). It's got these huge double doors and this foyer with a really high ceiling. Outside is a somewhat disturbing statue of Mary. I can see outside to the rest of the building with its cool Romanesque windows and old stained glass. And just a stone's throw away is our cathedral. Yes, we have a cathedral! And it really is cathedral-like. It's got these pointed turets that get pointier and longer as they go up. A while ago crows were flying around the top most turet and it all felt very Gothic. :o)

I can't see the Veronica Mars almost-mid-season finale yet, and I'm all impatient because everywhere I look on my flist it's Veronica Mars Veronica Mars Veronica Mars. I am SO tempted to find out what happened. WHo the rapist is hasn't really bothered me until last week when the teaser for this week came out. Every week though I get spoiled for VM because I see it a day after it airs. And I do it on purpose, it's not accidental. This time... I won't read spoilers. I solemnly swear (that I am up to no good).
