Wow, this whole thing is mostly embarrassing.
Not to say there aren't some good people on here who have responded to my posts, but there was a hell of a lot of navel-gazing and angst going on. I can only faintly remember the things I was feeling when I wrote most of this.
I've heard it said that a person changes completely every seven years. I'm well on my way.
I won't update this again. It feels too much like writing in the blank pages at the back of a book: I'd be scribbling in someone else's journal.
