Doodlin'

Earlier today at work I had some time to kill, and so I found myself standing in front of my whiteboard with an assortment of dry-erase markers. I decided to draw a little cartoon Santa Claus. Sounds simple enough, right? Not really... I ran out of room early on in my first attempt, and I also realized that my picture looked more like Osama Bin Laden than Santa Claus!

Thankfully, my next attempt was a little better. :-P

Yes, I wrote "Happy Holidays." I hope no one's offended... Apparently, there's some big to do about saying "Happy Holidays" vs. "Merry Christmas." I've never given it much thought. "Happy Holidays" covers Christmas and New Year's, right? And it's not like Christmas is the only holiday around this time of year... Yet folks today get offended, angry even, if you say "Happy Holidays." "We say 'Murry Christmus' 'round these parts!" Whatever. Life's too short for such petty disagreements.
