Pretty good weekend so far!
I had a lot of fun with Dan and his fraternity buddies at the Virginia Tech-Florida State game yesterday. The weather was PERFECT - partly cloudy with a crisp, cool fall breeze. Ah... :-) FSU got down early but came back to win it with some amazing receiving plays. The highlights...
Dan's a Virginia Tech alum, so he wasn't too happy... But oh well. :-P I had been waiting for this game ever since the debacle in Blacksburg last year, and it was nice to see the Noles get some revenge. Also before the game even started, Miami beat Wake Forest 16-10. So now that Wake has two losses, FSU controls their own destiny in the ACC. Nice! :-)
In other news, I decided to sign up for a Twitter account. So if you have Twitter, let me know so I can add you. :-) My username is JasonFSU. I really like it so far... LOVE that you can upload a picture with your tweets! I downloaded the Twitterific app for the iPhone but couldn't figure out how to make it stop displaying the public tweet feed... So I got a new app, Twinkle, that I like a lot better. I was worried that this thing was all based on text messages, so it was great to find out that I could update over the 3G network through the app. :-)
On tap for today... I'm going to go outside and clean up my front year. Grass is good, but the planter section needs work. Damn weeds are trying to take it over again... I also need to replace my doorbell. It looks like someone pressed it a little too hard, because the button's all caved in. With Halloween coming up, I figure I'd better take care of this now.
