coffee table bug
special thanks to daniel for helping me put together my new furniture.
i got a new coffee table which has a glass top in a way. its glass laying on wood that's sunken in/counter sunk. anyway, i have been laying on my couch watching south park and editing photos.
i saw what looked to be a crumb from the pizza we ate earlier so i took my finger and pressed against it. had it been a crumb it would have stuck to my finger and i could have thrown it out.
anyway......it was a beetle. that's right, a fucking beetle. here in southern california, i dont deal with beetles. ants, small spiders, flies, etc...simple stuff.
this was a beetle that made a horrible clicking buzzing sound when i pressed against it. i didnt kill it, but i did scare it. i bolted for the paper towels and destroyed the intruder which surely had to have originated from a Swedish furniture factory.
anyway, thanks for your help, daniel. check yourself for black/green beetles.
