Pigs vs Cats

I've had both pigs and cats as pets. I had the pig when I was about 10. I just recently got my cats as an adult. I think you should only have pigs if you live on a farm. I kept both my pig and cats in my home.  Both used a litter box and were clean animals. However, the pig would eat everything.  This included an old light bulb (which gave him an infection that  he later died from). My dad bought my pig out of the Want Ads.  My dad was looking for a truck and saw that people were selling pigs. He wanted to see if you could really buy a pig in the Want Ads. He decided to purchase the truck at a later date. The pigs name was Kevin Beacon. He was named by my father because of the actor and because my father thought a pig with the name beacon was funny. Kevin enjoyed running from one end of the room to the other making a clucking sound as he ran. I'm not sure if this is something all pigs do or if it was something that only mine did.  When we first brought Kevin home he would slip and slide when he tried to walk on our tile floor. I think this had something to do with his short legs and hooved feet, but I'm not sure. He could also go down stairs but could not climb up them. He would get stuck and I would have to carry him back.  Kevin was very affectionate at times and would  often sleep in my bed, as my cats do. Both Kevin and my cats were very mild mannered most of the time. My cats Padre and Rascal I purchased through CraigsList. I nicknamed Rascal "Catdog" because he likes to play fetch with straws, bottle caps, or twine. My brother named Rascal because he was always getting into trouble. I named Padre because he is a black cat but has a spot of white on his neck. This spot looked like a priest's collar, thus hence Padre.
I guess that's all for now. Tell me about your pets.
