Top Movies and Performances of 2010

2010 was an excellent year for movies, the best since 2007. I only saw 25 in all but of those 9 were nominated for Best Picture and I would have been happy with any of my top 15 being in my top 10. I was disappointed that The King's Speech beat out The Social Network at the Oscars but at least it was still a very good film. On the other hand, Tom Hooper winning over David Fincher for Best Director was a travesty of justice. Also, Hailee Steinfeld and Andrew Garfield were both clearly lead performances but I put them in Supporting since that is how they were nominated (Oscars and Golden Globes respectively) and it worked better for my lists :-)
