farmer's market bounty/mystery

A few weeks ago, I bought green pod-like things from one of the Alemany market vendors, who was unable to tell me what it was.  On the bag was a piece of paper on which was written calamansi (on one side) and rabano (Spanish for radish) on the other.  They clearly worked calamansi, but they sure didn't seem to be radishes.  I stir-fried them, and they were tasty (with a taste reminiscent of radish), but forgot to take photos.

This week, another vendor had them, still attached to the stalks.  She claimed they were daikon pods, or something like that.  I've looked online, and can't find anything to match them (daikon leaves look very different, as do daikon shoots).  Anyone know what this might be?
