Um....please don't read this if you are easily offended, but um this is ridiculous as a girl I am ashamed to be one. I never knew we could stoop so low. But I have to say it made me laugh, could you imagine.....a one night stand or five minutes of relief could earn you a phone call looking for child support years later

Thank you, thank you! Sorry it took me so long to get back to ya. I've been busy as hell with said new job. It's been great. I cannot say how happy I am with it. The training week was innundated with information and whatnot. The environment is very different from Apple. It's a small office, very tight knit. Everyone is very supportive. You can chat directly with the L2s, face to face. And they invite you to, too. :) It's hella cool. Okay, so I don't get why we have to dress up for the job, but whatever. So I have to wear slacks and a button down and a jacket Monday through Thursday, big deal. I kinda like dressing that way, anyway.

So, yeah, I'm liking my job a lot - despite the early morning hours, despite the commute from south Austin to Pflugerville, despite having to dress up, despite everything anyone could possibly bitch about, I an really, really digging this gig. They treat their people well. The rules are laid out, plain and simple, and I haven't seen any sign of power games or any of the bullshit I saw at apple. There are no Eds or Winonas to contend with, and that makes me so greatful, like you wouldn't believe. And I'm already being hailed for my tech skills, which - ohmigod - I never was at Apple! Imagine that! And they love the fact thta I'm bilingual, too, though I'm not getting paid any more for it, sadly. Oh, well. You win some and you lose some. It's a small sacrifice for overall happiness - a VERY small one at that.
