Alive and well

Sorry to those I missed this weekend. I had no web access at my mom's. Quick breakdown, the weekend was wonderful, I spent alot of time with the family. Even had the little girls come running to the door, screaming my name. It was excellent. Though on the ride (as 6 hours each way)I realized that music really means alot to me, and certain songs seemed to evoke images. Here's some of my ponderings (no insults are intended for the following).

Every Rose has it's Thorn- Danny (jerk who dated my friend and basically dedicated this to me as I was too shallow to want to date him...bah!)

Right here Waiting- George (Jay) (first real compliment I ever received and first fiance in the mix).

Insensitive-Robert (song I was listening to when he came to the house to belittle me for leaving).

Maybe he'll notice me now
Don't Stop Believing - Dan

One more try - Carlos (sweetheart of a boy I dated in my youth, sadly everytime he went out with me, he got threatened by rednecks about "dating his own kind").

Things she said
Ballad of Jenny Ledge - Scott (Russell/Tigger)(what can I say... he was definately a learning experience all the way around)

Those are the one's that really stick out for me. Granted today, I'm married to a man that seems to evoke his image with almost every song that i hear. Whether he has crooned it to me, sang along to the radio with, or seems to epitomizes...he is my one man band name. But if you were to ask us our songs?
Blue Moon
I'm a Believer
Sitting on the Dock of the Bay.

Have a wonderful week, and may a song always follow your footsteps, as we all need our own theme music
