115 degrees over the open road today. That's like 44 degrees Celcius I think. Humidity? Somewhere between 5 and 25%. It depends which readings you trust. The 'dry heat' phrase doesn't provide much consolation. Certainly it doesn't provide shade, so what use is it?

Someone(s) broke into my restaurant project 2 weeks ago. Then they used box-cutters to cut through the wall into the neighboring suites to rob them as well. No suspects.
An electrician I was waiting to meet backed his truck into the front of my truck. He promised me he'd "take care of it" and now he's shining me on. My lawyer is preparing a nice letter for him.
But then I calm myself with the *good* news and I don't care to complain anymore. Irit received her visa last week! It's bona fide and approved! We're shooting for around August 26th or 27th to move her out here.
And (saving the best for last) we have a set wedding date now too! It's June of 2008 for sure, in downtown Ottawa. The details will be out soon.
