Turbo Justice and the Rockinaughts

I think this band might actually get off the ground. Our name, I am pretty sure because we have been kicking around several names and this one is really cool, is probably going to be Turbo Justice and the Rockinaughts. Its going to be complete geek rock. We also want to make each show that we do an episode of our adventures, and each album a season of episodes, or somethign along those lines. Turbo Justice is the name of our ship. We all have characters, a pilot, a space adventurer/captain, a pirate (what team would be complete without a pirate), an alien, and a professor/science counceler. I am professor Dread Poliatom. We are going to incorporate visuals in the background as we play and for extras like for our adventures between songs. I am super excited about the visuals, especially since before they closed our science building on campus at sonoma state university I got to raid the the place because I was helping move out. In addition to all the freakin cool lab equipment/random stuff I got, I picked up like eight rolls of 16mm old 50s or 70s science instructional film which I want to digitize somehow (I guess using an old projector some how) and do something with it. What is really fun and cool too is that with my keyboard and computer there is a lot that we can do with sound effects and such, I think we were going to make some films too using green screen and all that. Its going to be something like the story telling of Gwar meets the Aquabats. We havn't quite found our sound yet but so far its probably most similar to Nerf Herder. Random tangent, but in a couple weeks or so I am going to see Nerf Herder at Bottom of the HIll in San Francisco (me = excited). So that is the band look for us. And just because I am listening to it and have it stuck in my head now:

Mixology 101 -
Washinton Apple Shot Recipie
1/3 oz Crown Royal Canadian Whisky
1/3 oz DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker schnapps
1/3 oz cranberry juice
1 splash 7-Up soda

Put whisky, sour apple schnapps, and cranberry juice in shaker, and strain into shot glass. Add a splash of 7-Up.
