Day of unexpected crazy, with bonus awesome
Today was supposed to be a day all about giving a final exam. Instead, it ended up being a day of zany adventure. My class was interrupted by a tornado warning. I'm not sure why the university felt it would be better for my class to shelter on the bottom of a concrete buildig than on the 13th floor of said building. I mean, if the building collapsed, we'd all be dead one way or another. Oh well. Oddly enough, this make me happy. I like oddness, new things, and surprises. Also, stroms are awesome.
Eventually, after the storms passed and the exam was dealt with, I managed to catch a train home, and ended up randomly having an hour long chat with a nice man who works in army psy-ops. That was a fascinating chat about US policy in Afghanistan.
Now... a bit of relaxation and some coffee.
