deliverence
Well i had a fun filled weekend. I went white water rafting down in south carolina on the chatooga river nature preserve(sp)with danielle, her boyfriend nick, her brother brett and justin. It was a 2 day thing. (by the way this is the river they filmed deliverence on)On saturday we went through class 2,3,and 4 rapids. Nick fell in while were were going over a class 4 rapid and started flipping out. i got a really funny picture of it where danielle is looking over the side of the boat laughing at him. The trip ended at about 5 and we headed back to the hotel which was an hour away. and guess what, yup, we got in a car accident. so mexican guy rear ended us, and then he tried leaving the scene. so brett jumped out of the van ran up to the guys can and jumped in. while this is all going on i called the police. we pulled over in the burger king parking lot and the cops showed up. turns out the guy cant speak english and hes not a citizen. leave it to us to get someone deported.
so the sunday part of the trip was intersting from the get go. while trying to get to the river again, we some how drove to georgia(the river seperates south carolina and georgia). we eventually got there and got on the river and went through class 4 and class 5 rapids. it was fun as hell. adn nick was crying about some of them. we went over a 7 foot water falls which was real fun. it was so pretty down there. justin and i are planning on buying a house down there within the next 2 years.
