Skittles the Singing Bunny Rabbit

Once upon a time, there was bunny rabbit named Skittles.  He looked like an ordinary white bunny rabbit, but he had a secret talent.  He had a lovely high soprano singing voice and a hugely extensive 48 note singing range!  That was equal to six octaves because 48 divided by eight was equal to six. (He was also very good at math)  Because he was so musically talented, he taught lessons for people who couldn’t sing.

One day, he met a man named Horatio.  Horatio was a terrible singer.  So Skittles decided to take pity on him and teach him the musical ways.

“Sing me a scale,” said Skittles.

“Oh, okay… which is?” Horatio asked.

Skittles twitched his nose in disappointment.  This was going to be harder than he thought. He told Horatio that a scale was made of whole steps and half steps in a specific order.  They were the distances between notes he explained.

“Give me huge resonance when you sing!  I want to see the windows shake!!” Skittles demanded.

Horatio attempted to sing an extremely high male tenor note.  CRASH!! The windows broke into a gazillion little pieces.  And it wasn’t because the note was right on pitch.  Skittles angrily hopped over to him.

“I’m sorry I broke the windows Master Skittles,” He said timidly.

“I don’t care about the dumb windows.  Your falsetto is absolutely horrendous!  You need to sing with your head voice to get those high notes!!  And did you eat peanut butter before you came here?  You coated your larynx and your vocal cords you imbecile!!! How do you expect to get a good sound like that?? That’s it, I give up with you!!  Come find me when you get talent,” Skittles yelled angrily.

Skittles began to hop out of the door, but before he left, he went over to Horatio and bit his finger.  Then he hopped away, merrily singing opera as he went.
