1. I haven't been to see baby Kellan yet. My current migraine (yesterday and today I've been so shaky I'd be afraid to hold him!) plus having a houseful of kids all weekend contributed, but also since all three of my babies are sick, I didn't want to risk carrying their germs to him. But I have made plans to spend the day with them on Wednesday, since Amy's mom will be going back to work that day. I shouldn't be germy or migrainey by then, and I can kidnap Zac for the afternoon to go have a playdate with Neville (who has been asking for Z to come over) and let Amy (hopefully) get some rest. Plus I can help her get everything together for Thursday, when she and the boys head to Norfolk to meet Daddy's ship.
2. I had two extra boys at the house all weekend, plus Illy and Haley all day Saturday, and two others here most of the day Saturday and Sunday (they just didn't stay the night or go to church with us). Fun times. I told R&D that no one is allowed to stay the next two weekends.
3. Davey's first wrestling match is this afternoon. I know nothing about wrestling, other than watching WWE back in the day with my grandma, so it should be interesting. Four of the kids on the team (not Davey or his friend that stayed the weekend) have asked me to make sure I'm coming to the match. And two of the girls on the basketball team have asked me to come to their game tomorrow. I know that since the games/matches are at 5pm, it makes it hard for some parents to get there, so as long as I'm feeling up to it, I don't mind going and supporting the kids. But I'm thinking maybe I should have bought a year-long athletic pass, because this is gonna add up!
4. I missed the race yesterday, which is boo. Especially since it was the last of the three races in the eliminator round. I had to text my brother first thing this morning to see who is still in the Chase. I'm pulling for Hamlin. He's one of my favs anyway. I cannot believe there is only one more race this season. It seems like Daytona was only last week!
5. I just took a load of laundry out of the dryer. There are probably three dozen socks in there, but only like four matched pairs! I swear, the kids just pick two socks of the same color to wear, not worrying about whether they match or not!
