Brendon looks out the window as the storm rages. Lightning cracks across the sky and he sighs "Everyone is changing".
"It's just the storm" Spencer hooks his chin over Brendon's shoulder, his breath warm against Brendon's skin.
Brendon tilts his head to the side and scans the dark "I can feel it. It's like it's touching me, like the lights outside turn into knives on me"
"You knew it was going to be like this" Spencer's voice is soft and non accusing "It was the choice you made"
Brendon deflates a little, leans back against Spencer "My little demon, making me choose" and Spencer laughs softly "I wish you'd stop calling me that"
"Do you remember how we met ?"
Brendon can almost hear Spencer roll his eyes "How could I forget? You stuck your wand in my face and threatened to curse me"
"You were the prettiest thing I'd ever seen"
"I still remember what you said after. 'Fancy meeting you at our old stomping ground' " Spencer pauses and then laughs again "It makes so much more sense now, that I know what I know"
Brendon turns so he's facing Spencer, running his fingers over his skin, across his cheekbones and down his jaw "I knew it was you. The second I saw you, with every breath that I am worth, I knew it was you"
"Yet you still threatened to turn me into a frog"
Brendon shrugs "I was keeping face. I couldn't explain in front of Jon and Ryan"
Spencer leans in and rests his forhead against Brendons "I'm glad you found me"
"I'll always find you. In this world or the next. I'll always find you" Brendon kisses Spencer softly "My little demon"
