1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
Lost feeling in limbs, forgot who/where I was way more than I'd like to admit, involuntary nocturnal spasms, falling asleep and waking two days later, tremors in feet, paralysis in right arm, lost my sense of taste, mistook my cat for a raccoon, MRI(s), some fainting, diagnosed with an incurable disease, floor seats to the Spurs playoffs, busted a criminal in my attic, danced with swords on my head, moxabustion, acupuncture, oxygen bars, soaked in hot springs, totaled a car, tried muscle testing, quit sugar, "earthing" which is hippy for "walking barefoot outside," chicken-sat, maxed out health insurance, dislocated a rib, flirted with the coyote, worked on my moon tan, got into natural healing, was a vodka goddess.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
This year I was too busy losing feeling in my limbs and mistaking my cats for raccoons to worry about flossing or losing 5 lbs but I think this upcoming year I’d like to learn to belly dance since it’s good for you AND the people around you still.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011:
• MRI's are not cheap, even if they rupture 2 of your veins.
• Complications are everywhere! We are surrounded.
• Real friends don't dump you when you can't booze with them anymore.
• Nature kicks ass and takes names & big pharma is just caring all the way to the freakin bank / trying to step into the arena with equipment from the dollar store.
• Life is entirely too short to be a victim.
40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
she'll hop out and push if the motors dead
gotta keep it movin' with no regrets
