Actual update
Damn, been awhile since I've given an actual update on what's goin' on with me. The main reason I don't update very often is that if I did it'd be a damned near endless litany of "this is the next thing that sucks" and I don't wanna be that guy. Truth to tell there aren't a lot of earthshaking changes going on in my life. More of the same ole. Still workin' at the casino, still livin' in my house, still working on the second story.
The biggest change of late was the death of my car. It was the ugly death too, full of "why is my car slowing down on the highway while I'm still pressing the accelerator," and once I'd pulled over there was a lot of "why is my car puking oil all over the place?" It was true and total car death. She went to the car-smashy-graveyard and Nik's been letting me use his car to get to work and back since the local bus service is actually usefull to him.
Lesse, other changy-type things . . . They're letting us work 4 - 10's! Whoot! 3 days off each week! This is excellent as the grave shift tends to guarantee (I spell that word so badly I can't even find it in the dictionary) that I sleep through the first one - as in all but 5 - 7 hours of it. Now I get actual weekends! Yays! Uhhhh, other stuff . . . hair's still growing longer as I am lazy and hate haircuts . . . re-arrainged my bedroom and now have much better space usage . . . uhhhhh, yup, that's about it. Other than I got Rock Band 2 and it is verra cool. Definate upgrade from the first game. Verra fun.
