prospectuses, ii
As of this evening, I've received prospectuses from eight of my fourteen potential players, and three more have declined to participate, for varied reasons. I'm still waiting on the other three; I've asked them to respond by the start of Monday morning, 7 October.
I'm going to decide what campaigns to run after that; if some of them haven't responded, I won't take their preferences into account, of course. If I ran campaigns based on the current responses, I would be running two: Science Heroes!, a campaign about classic superheroes in 1930s Arkham, Massachusetts, and Shadowlands, a campaign about the failure of technology and return of magic in the near future American state of Winnemac. I doubt that either of them will drop, whatever responses I get, but I might add a third.
Waiting for responses makes me a little anxious, but I'm resisting the urge to nip at people's heels; I expect it would annoy them and it would be purely to relieve my own feelings, and not likely to do any good. And since I've said that up through Sunday night will be fine, I shouldn't make a fuss if they take up through Sunday night!
