I went to Plato's Closet today with a big shopping bag of old clothes. When Plato's Closet gets the clothes, they sell them for 70% LESS than the retail stores, and of that 30% they sell it for, they give you a 30% cut. So, with a $10.00 American Eagle shirt, Plato's sells it for $3.00 and they give me $1.00. Something like that.
However, I guess a bunch of the clothes I brought in were too old. They only buy clothes that are 1 to 1.5 years old. So, they look a pair of jeans, blue cordoroy's, a skirt, and I think a shirt or two and gave me $16.00! $16.00 is more than I thought I was going to get, so with my new money, I'm going to pay for Chris's gas so we can go home Friday!
