Contentment on V-Day
I experienced contentment on this Valentines Day. I had a few little gifts prepared for family, a stuffed heart for dad that says "You Rock" and for mom a cute "love bug" for her to hang at her desk. It's a blessing that i am still sick so therefore i didnt need to contemplate "who loves me?" and "who do i love?" so i enjoyed a blissful contentment.
Valentines was quite a restful day, I rested and slept a good part of it away. Around 7:30 mom asked me to go grab a bite to eat with her and dad. Dad showed up with neighbor Cal at 7:55 and we were off to pick mom up from work. Dinner at The Village Inn was nice as usual, nothing fancy, just good food and good company.
After dinner and a brief stop by the house to pick up lila and let 3 out. I went to moms for a night of must see tv. 24 and Medium were both very good and quite entertaining. Lila proved to be a superior pain in the posterior for a good 75% of the night. But as an 18 week old she was fantastic. Well im off to bed hopefully to get some rest so i can get over this cold!
