I had the BEST Nate/Eliot dream last night. I doubt I could adequately translate it to the written word, but it was a huge slashy moment, with them being just a bit, um, rough with one another that happened for real in the show and then I saw Christian in a store (buying windshield wiper blades) and told him what an awesome job he did playing it. Dreams are so weird. But I woke up all excited that there was Nate/Eliot canon and then realized it was a dream. :(
Torchwood: is there any other pairing besides Jack/Ianto? I refuse to believe it. And Children of Earth did not happen. Nope, nope, nope.
Harry Potter: Snape/Harry and Snape/Remus; honestly, I think Remus is the only one who could temper Snape's darkness. Also, totally in denial about Deathly Hallows--I regard it with the same disdain as CoE above.
haha, that sounds like an awesome dream! XD Nate/Eliot canon would be amazing...*wistful sigh*
I was told the other day about the awesomeness of Snape/Remus. That's a pairing I'd never considered but I think I'm gonna have to try some now, cause that does sound interesting.
But...but...you didn't love Deathly Hallows?!?! *clutches heart* I mean, I love CoE but I can totally understand being in denial about it, but Deathly Hallows??? I thought it was amazing! For me it's right up there with my other two favorites, Prisoner of Azkaban and Order of the Phoenix.
It was a most awesome dream. If I could remember more details, I'd work it up as a story. But you know how dreams are.
But...but...you didn't love Deathly Hallows?!?! *clutches heart*
Truth time: I've never actually read it. I got spoiled early on and there were developments I didn't think I'd like, so I never read it. I think I just got burned out on JKR after Half Blood Prince--it just didn't grab me like the previous books had. PoA is probably my favorite of them all.
I love CoE
Really? Seems like most of the Torchwood folks I know hated it. I was ok with it, other than the Ianto dying bit, but thought it dragged on a bit long.
Ahhh, ok. Well, I thought it was incredible and a perfect ending for the books, but then I loved Half Blood Prince too, :/ The only thing JKR's done that makes me mad was going back and making Dumbledore gay after the fact when all the books were published and there was virtually no reference to it anywhere unless you were wearing Slash Goggles with Ultra Zoom. O.o
From what I've heard most people's problem with CoE was either Ianto dying or Jack sacrificing those kids before or both of those things, and while I didn't want Ianto to die I thought the way it was done was really good and dramatic and I loved the choices they had Jack making so even though it hurt, I thought it was an awesome kind of hurt...I dunno, I know I'm in the minority there.
