Yes, it's true. I've found another fandom to write for... Jake and Amir (from CollegeHumor, if you don't know it check that shit out NOW!) For my wrestling friends this is Jake Hurwitz and this is Amir Blumenfeld and together (yes this is a link) they make one of the funniest duos in this decade!

Title: A Conversation Should Always Last.
Author: Nadia, whowatchesnadia
Pairing: Jake/Amir
Rating: PG
Summary: Jake and Amir have an important conversation.
Disclaimer: Jake and Amir belong to themselves and to CollegeHumor, I do not know this people, their company or their associates, so don’t sue me. Please?
AN: Yeah, first time writing Jake and Amir (but don’t turn away from this fic!), not first time writing fic. May be pretty short, but plan to write a lot more of these two in the future.

“Hey. Jake Jake Jake!” Amir called.

“What do you want Amir?” Jake grumbled, feeling himself getting irritated already. Does this guy even work?

“Did you know that 2500 hundred right-handed people die from using right handed appliances every year?”

“Yeah, Amir, that’s amazing,” Jake played along, “but I heard that it was left-handed people that die…”

“Well wouldn’t they have to use left-handed appliances, then? And I doubt they make things for left-handed people so…”

“Exactly, which is why they die using right-handed appliances.”

“What dies?” Amir asked, head tipped to the side.

“I didn’t say what dies I meant they, as in people.”

“Sure you did, Jake.”

“Oh my,” Jake rubbed the spot between the bridge of his nose and his forehead. “Is this why you were bothering me?”

“No.” Amir said. And that was it. Jake sighed.

“Ok, then what did you want?”

“I was going to tell you something, but I decided not to tell you.”

“Tell me what, exactly?”

“You’re not ready for it.”

“I’m not ready for what?” Jake asked. He wasn’t actually interested, it’s just everything that passes through Amir’s brain is always conveyed to Jake, whether he wants to know or not.

“It was nothing. It’s too much for you to handle.” Amir decided, and went back to… whatever he was doing.

“Ok, how -?” Jake began, but Amir cut it short.

“Alright, I’ll tell you, sheesh! I’m in love with you!”

Jake blinked.

“You’re…,” For the first time in a while Jake was out of words to say. “You’re in love with me?”

Is Jake appalled, angry, or disgusted? He wasn’t at all! Technically, you could say he was relieved to find out his coworker was in love with him. It’s not an overstatement to say that Amir gets on Jake’s nerves all the time, but all the time they’ve been spending together working on the videos, hanging out at the D’s, and all the sleepovers has made Jake find that he may have feelings for Amir. And not ones a guy should have for another guy. Maybe he should -

“Haha! Just kidding man, you should’ve seen your face!” Amir squealed, that lopsided smile in place to hide the hurt that Jake’s silence gave him. And Jake knew that, which is why he rolled his eyes and grinned at his Gullie for life.

“Were you just joking?” Jake questioned.

“No.”

“I thought so,” Jake noticed that uncomfortable look on Amir’s face, and Jake didn’t like it. He should be smiling all the time, that’s what Jake has grown to like (maybe love?) about the man; that goofy smile. “So, the D’s tonight? I’ll pay.”

Amir’s look of uncomfort was now replaced by complete and utter confusion, “What? Are you…?”

“Asking you out on a date? Yeah, I am.” Jake smiled, and it turned into a full blown grin when he saw uncomfort and confusion wash away, replaced with a grin that lit up Jake’s insides.

“Cool.” Amir nodded, biting his lips to muffle whatever screams of joy that Jake knew he was about to emit.

“Cool.” Jake said, and went back to work.

“So does that mean I won’t be sleeping in your closet anymore?”

Jake laughed, “No man. You can sleep with me in my bed now; but only if you behave!”

“When do I not behave?” Amire grinned, and proceeded to jump over his and Jake’s desks to wrap Jake in a bear hug.

“Oh, come on! We had a good moment there, why’d you have to ruin it?” Jake groaned, but his irritance didn’t stop his arms from wrapping around Amir’s small form. He blushed slightly, ignoring the excited whispers around him.

“Whatevs, you totally love me, so I’m saved.” Amir said matter of factly and leaned down slowly, lips poised.

Jake couldn’t help but smile and meet Amir half way.
