kill a cricket, break my heart
So, guy at work I really don't like says to me, "Hold still." He knocks something off my back and onto the floor. It's a cricket. Then he stomps on it and kills it.
Ok, so even if I probably didn't want to walk around with a cricket on my back, the poor little thing wasn't hurting anyone. It's a cricket for crying out loud! Which they often cry...out...loud...har har...hee...yeah, bad, stopping now.
I don't like killing bugs unless I think they might in some way harm me or have already done harm to me (e.g. mosquitoes...love to kill those, but we don't usually get them in the store). This just spoke volumes to me about this guy's personality. Oh, something's out of place, let's destroy it even though it's really completely harmless. Makes me wonder what else he's rigidly intolerant about.
Am I freaking out too much over a cricket??? It was inside, and there have been several inside lately, but it's A CRICKET!!!
