computers should be done away with... all of them, their useless high maintenence pieces of crap....
For example, I was testing out a dvd burner that someone couldn't get to work in their system, it seemed ok in mine, I took it out and took it back to them. In the process of removing the drive from my computer I somehow broke the primary IDE channel.... swapped cables, drives and power connectors, nothing.... so now I'm left with the secondary IDE channel, one HDD and a dvd player.... if I want to burn a CD I have to turn off my computer, disconnect my dvd drive and plug in my burner.... which of cource will lead to excess ware on the IDE cable, although they are replaceably (and I can always use the one from the primary channel) its still a pain in the ass....
these parts were not meant to be removed all that often, most times once its installed it stays there untill the computer is old and you get a new one..... the crappy thing is that the mobo is only 10 months old, maybe I should get a new nforce2 board, oh, look more maintenence....
hehe I just realized that I'm using a computer, to bitch about a computer..... which will be seen over the internet, on someone elses computer..... damnit
ever wonder why people write viruses? this is why we get pissed off and want everyone elses computer to suck as bad as ours does....
just think, when you have a computer problem its usualy fixable. when I have a problem that I can't fix, that means the computer is fucked....
well thats enough computer talk.... now I'm going the turn off the computer and thinkof interesting ways to make it explod.... maybe pack the PCI slots with simtex..... that would be fun
