[Ninety Seventh Case] : [Accidental Video]

[The video comes on accompanied by a very loud CRASH, and the view is skewed the second it turns on. The reason? A table (among other things) has been knocked over and sent Greg's D-Comm flying, causing it to turn on. The view makes it difficult to see what's going on, but two sets of feet can be seen - first Greg's, backing up, and Nick's

[Sadamitsu sees the post and runs over to the Sanders apartment, making a beeline for the closet. Be thankful that Sadamitsu's Japanese and hasn't had the closet joke explained to him yet Greg.]

Hey Greg, it's me. Just hang on a sec.

[He wiggles the chair a bit.]

Damn this got wedged in here.

[He gives it a good kick and sends it flying, sans a tiny piece off the top of the backrest. Oops. He pulls open the door.]

Okay, what the hell just happened?

[Greg stumbles out of the closet, holding a hand to the welt on his face. Nick managed to deck him pretty damn hard to subdue him long enough to throw him in there.]

I have no idea! We were just talking and all of a sudden he tried to leave and wouldn't tell me why or where he was going!

[readmyback]

[Sadamitsu heads to the fridge and empties the ice cube trays into a dishtowel. He returns and hands the bundle to Greg.]

We're going after him right?

[Action]

[Greg thanks him and puts it to his face, wincing at the shot of cold and pain.]

Hell yes! This isn't like him at all! Something is really wrong...

I'll say. How're we gonna find him?

[Sadamitsu starts heading towards the door, then remembers the video that Greg's D-Comm sent out and heads over to the mess in the next room to dig it out, letting Greg rest for a minute longer. He turns it off once he finds it and heads back over to Greg.]

No clue. Thanks... [takes his comm back and puts it in pocket] Head out of the Hyperion and start asking people if they've seen him.

Guess so. You good to go?

[He lifts the makeshift cold pack up a bit to take a look at the welt.]

Ow...

Ready as I'll ever be.

Eh. I've seen worse. You'll live.

[He starts heading back towards the door, taking Junk from Kulon, who's just caught up. The V-mon falls into step behind him.]

Better get moving before he gets too far.

[grumbling under his breath, following behind him] You're not the one who got hit...

Hey, I've been smacked around plenty of times. I know what it feels like. And I've done worse to guys than that little thing. You ain't got anything to worry about.

He's my friend, Sada. I've worked with him for over ten years. I know when he's had a bad day just by how he walks in to a room. Even when he's pissed he doesn't just haul off and hit people. Especially me.

I'm not pissed that I got punched. Haku once put my face in to a wall just because I was being stubborn. I'm pissed that something is wrong with Nick and I don't know how to fix it.

[His face shoots around to look over at Greg.]

Haku did!? You had to've been pretty dumb to've got her to hit you.

[He gets over most of his surprise and looks forward again, looking kind of down.]

It sucks not knowing what to do, huh? Or when the only things you can think of are gonna suck for everyone.

Yeah, well... [Greg keeps walking, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly] it was pretty stupid...

[the last comment gets a bit of a wary sigh]

Faith and Hailey are gonna be really upset...

Then we gotta find him, knock some sense into him, and drag him back before they get a chance to get worried.
