guess I'll update again
So, it can be assumed that with such a space in between updates that a lot will have happened, and boy would you be correct. I somehow managed to survive that last couple weeks of school, which were a veritable roller-coaster ride of frustrations, stress, altered states, and other fun things. I wound up getting cast in one of the one-acts (the Tennessee Williams one), and have had to grow out a full beard for the role, which was an interesting experiment, also a surprisingly successful one. A vacation in Italy was much needed, I then returned to the city for the remainder of the break and started school...and was knocked right on my ass by my schedule. I'm overloading this semester to get my core classes done, and goddamn if it doesn't leave me wrecked at the end of every week, nevermind whatever else is going on outside of those classes. I won't go into specifics, but let's just say that I haven't been willing to fight for something like this in a long, long time...something that is alternately refreshing and stressful for many reasons. Certainly an unexpected direction for this semester to have taken, and I'll expect it to be full of many more twists and turns, so perhaps there will be more updates of this thing again, I'll have to chronicle these thoughts somewhere. Still waiting on a major development, but the ball is no longer on my side of the court, some good people are on that side though, so that is a comfort. Well, until I find out more, I cannot leave any more vague statements as to what is going on in my life, but maybe you'll actually see more here about it soon...maybe.
