Starting fresh.
I decided to come out of hiding, fix up my livejournal, and start posting again. Hurrah.
I have moved out to Ellensburg to finish up the last two years of my schooling. I'm getting myself a Theatre Generalist degree. So far so good, I enjoy it, and I've been working in the scene shop this quarter. It has been fantastic. I've noticed they enjoy having me work on the icicles for 'A Christmas Carol'. That and painting things.
Living away from home is exciting and a little sad. I enjoy being on my own away in a little college town, but I miss home. Everyone is home. All my friends, my family, my boyfriend, it's weird. I'm working on it.
I've been pulling out movies [Army of Darkness, Muppet Treasure Island(Classic), etc...] that I love and TV shows [Venture Bros., Rome, etc...] that I love to put me at ease. It helps sometimes.
Most entertaining thing that happened this quarter is that yesterday I got to skip out of scene shop to go see Edward James Olmos talk. It was fantastic. He was hilarious, told a lot of great stories, and gave a lot of great advice. I'm very glad I went.
I guess that's it for now. We'll see if I'll be able to remember to update.
