This was a really good weekend...
Friday I received mad texts and voicemails in school only to be convinced to ditch my plans and go with Jackie on an emergency prom dress shopping excursion. Naturally we had to go on the highway however, so I showed Jackie how to drive like a beast on the highway. Jackie didn't get a dress (obviously) but I got a rockin pair of pants for mad cheap. I worked until 10, and it was surprisingly not too bad. I made $15 dollars in tips, got paid for the last two weeks, and it wasn't busy. The extra bonus was that Ben, Jackie, and Andrew came to visit and Jackie actually got ice cream. So after work I got my car and went to Eve's for the most random party ever. Just about all of GR was there as well as some other random people, but it was generally a good time. Most people got kicked out at 11:30 which is when I had to leave anyway so I dropped Jackie and Ben off and went home.
Saturday I went on a super fun trip to AC Moore to get stuff for our "english project" and then took a little trip to Rutherford for a YAC Attack. Meg and I crashed the YAC training and got to see some of the coolest people on the face of the planet; I love them all and miss them so much!!! Saturday night was when the real fun began though as we went on an adventure to SHU for the softball game. On the way however, we got lost in Irvington (clearly a good area), until we stumbled upon Yaw's aunt's house (mad random!) and then we turned around. Upon arriving at the game, we found out that it hadn't even started yet, and ended up starting an hour and a half late. But then it got good because the MHS team beasted and won 3-0
Sunday was just an extension of the fun of Saturday because we went to the Monmouth County Racetrack to watch the horse races. On the way down we thought we were beasts because we were going 80 on the parkway the whole time and thought we were gonna beat everyone else by like an hour. We were wrong cause everyone got there at the same time. The races were awesome and I bet a little, but my horses never pulled through for me. Here's Kelly...
So I bet all day for Andrew cause he's still a baby and isn't 18 yet.... and he won money on one race and gave me a nice 50 cent cut of his winnings. The trip back was the highlight of the day though, because Andrew once again thought it would be fun to speed a lot on the parkway. We started racing this black car, only to get beat at the toll... but not until exeeding 95.... with the windows open..... This is what happens...
That's Dan getting whipped in the face with Amanda's hair.... he loved every moment of sitting bitch.
Sam sat shotgun however, and seems to have enjoyed himself. By the end of the trip, we were all thankful to have survived the day, although a windburned face seems to have been the least of our worries.... Awesome time guys!
