Ni hao everyone!!!
Hahaha "ni hao" means hello in Chinese! I just got back from a trip to Beijing; once the semester ended my father decided it would be a good idea to study there for a few weeks since China is up and coming on the financial scene. Most of my classes were about economics so they were pretty boring, but I did get to see some of the sights!!!!
This is the Great Wall, it's MASSIVE!!! I have no idea how they built it!
And this is at the Summer Palace, which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful places in the world!! My pictures couldn't do it justice.
We went to a few performances. This picture is from a traditional dance show. The lovely young ladies here are SO talented! I think the Host Club should try and learn one of the dances they did!!!! It would be so much fun, don't you think?? ^___^
And here's a picture of a bunch of random Americans--we met them at dinner one night and boy were they crazy!! They all seemed very drunk, but friendly. [[ooc: cough the stupid looking one in the red shirt is me.]]
So I want to hear about everything that's been going on!!!! I've missed my friends and livejournal so much while I was away!!!! Has everyone been enjoying the sunny summer weather?
