Elm-bookin' it...
I have my interview in Elmbrook in 6 hours. I have been trying to sleep, but with no luck. I was already told outright that I was more "fluff" than I was someone they were interested. It would be kinda cool to go there and blow the socks off of the interview team - but I know I am up against super stiff competition. I am up against people who have been working in Elmbrook for several years and have a ton more experience than I have - and will probably have more sleep than me too!
Gosh - I wish I could just relax, but I am so nervous.
I am typing up my notes that will be right in front of me while I get interrogating from a room full of people. Rumors have it that Elmbrook's interview style is to have 20 people packed in the room (including parents, students, resource staff... probably even the custodian with the kitchen sink for looks).
I start to teach summer school on Monday. I am making up a getting to know each other art activity. Then on day two, the students will be given their "creative license" and they will decorate it and I will hang it up in the room. How dorky, but I think it should be sweet. I am making their license on publisher right now...
