As it turns out, I was a pretty damn good shot! This was the first time I had ever held a gun, and I put one right through the target's eye! I was mostly head and chest shots, but there were one or two out on the margins when I was trying to figure out how the gun reacted to being shot. Its a small gun, a smith & wesson 22, because I told the guy at the range I had never shot before and needed "the training wheels of guns". Luckily my brother in law knew what he was doing and could help me load it and unload the spent shells, etc.
A good time had by all here in North Carolina. There will be more fun and frivolities to report soon, I'm sure!
