there is no shame! i stubbornly stayed in san diego because of that fact, i needed to succeed out here. it put me through bankruptcy, an anxiety disorder, and a load of loneliness.

i will say this though: you're still only at the beginning. we've got to grow down in order to grow up. it will still feel the same no matter where you start at this point. you may turn your back to iowa, but just keep in mind that it will always be difficult.

I'm sorry jaqui. that's tough. i don't think it's true that you can't survive on your own. of course you can! there are a few factors that are beyond your control at the moment but you'll pull through. unfortunately i don't have any practical ideas to suggest for the meantime that you don't already know, though have you thought of asking your parents for help?

i have been asking my dad for money since july or august. i had no other choice but to ask him again. i am not a fan of asking him for money :/
