really? it looks like it would be so awful and cheesy! and not in a fun way. did you go in with no expectations? I think that makes a huge difference. rusty wants to go, but I've been resisting.

really! i avoided all media coverage of it for this specific reason. marketing campaigns can really taint your perception of a movie. i went in knowing that some "thing" attacks nyc & the movie is about these people with a video camera trying to escape.

it wasn't awful nor cheesy & you should know by now i have pretty low tolerances for both.

yeah, I was thinking of maybe just going since you said you liked it. no expectations and maybe I will be pleasantly surprised!

you do have to suspend some disbelief [ie cell phone service underground], but overall, it's a good movie.

hehe. I probably wouldn't notice that. I have endured 3 seasons of lost and alias and still seem to enjoy myself despite the very bad characterizations/dialogue. those crazy plots just keep me watching!
