But why is it that you did not seek out other mortals? Why is it that when you were lonely, you sought out a key?

I wasn't sure how to speak with humans after I ventured outside of my home. A lot of them stared anyway, so it was best not to bother. I was only looking for keys to collect at the time. I did not know he would talk when I found him.

Just as well, anyway. Humans can be such a bother to speak to. But what exactly is there for a key to talk about?

He never says too much, but he is very wise and talks of a war that happened long before I was created. He was used as a weapon and allows me to use him as such even now.
