I'm done fiddeling.
So, I'm giving in, I can't customize this thing the way I want. Oh well, I want to use this more and more, but I find that I don't have time.
I've been meaning to write more, just to help guide my thoughts, so hopefully I can update more often.
What's new: I had an internship and I lost it after two weeks. I managed to get an internship at Devil's Due Publishing, and mind you I was super excited and then after only going twice, things happened, company down-sized, and I got laid-off by association. I'm on a list, but I didn't get a chance to really connect with people. Everyone seemed so cool and fun and I would have loved to get to know them more. Oh well.
Recommended:
It is an absolutely amazing movie, based on the comics by Marjane Satrapi. It is sad and funny, and will definitely give you something to think about.
Guilty Pleasure:
So I was extremely curious about the whole, Twilight phenomenon and I decided to read the books before the movie came out. It took me a about 5 days to read through all four books, and I found myself feeling 15 again. It's a guilty pleasure, like saying you love The Hills (which I detest). The series is geared towards high schoolers and I can see the appeal, I can understand why people love the series, what bothers me is the intense Mormon references. You can see it a lot later on in the books, which really just takes away from the fantasy, but all in all I still loved it. The whole time I felt I was reading a trashy novel without the trash.
The movie... satisfying, but not to the degree that the books were. Production quality sucked, acting could have been better, but over all, not that bad.
