well, today is better than yesterday for sure. I mean, alot of things have gotten tied up. And when I say alot of things, I mean one thing in particular. I just told my roomate Sam, that i won't be living with him next year. And he seemed really ok with it, which is quite curious. Either, in this one case he is unusually understanding, which could be true, OR he doesn't want to live with me anymore, which i am also totally okay with. Last night my neighbor talked to me and it really really helped. He basically told me that there's no way in hell that i'm going to go through this life without meeting another girl. And he told me that, and I quote "girls in santa cruz aren't exactly the cream of the crop. I mean, they're all a little chubby, a little ugly, and alot slutty." Which needless to say, made me laugh, but it also made me feel really good. And then he said "man, you won't get over that girl until you meet someone new, until then, she'll always be in the back of your mind" Which, combined with the comment he made before, really made me feel better about my girl situation right now. Whether his statements were right or wrong, is irrelevant at this point, cause it just made me feel better.

On the other hand, this morning i'm going through one of my insane music downloading festivals. So far i've got The Ataris album "Blue Skys, broken hearts, next 12 miles", which has been suprisingly good. And, I AM LISTENING TO THE WHOLE CD BEFORE I MAKE A JUDGEMENT. But so far it's been very very good. Other than that, i've downloaded the new Yellowcard album (or the NEWEST anyway), "Lights and Sounds". That was also suprising, because I heard the single, coincidentally of the same name as the album, and it sucked. Or I didn't like it anyway. One thing i've noticed is that lately all the good ol', totally cheesy hard emo rock, scremo, i guess, basically bands like finch, matchbook romance, story of the year, so forth and so on have all changed with their new albums and have gone from totally cheesy, but lovable emo type rock, to this new hardcore, almost 80's metal genre, which sickens me. Anyways, I'm happy with what i've got so far. And right now i'm in the process of downloading thursday's new album. Which has gotten great reviews but we'll see. Alright, take care everyone.
