once again....
today was one of those days when i needed a license and a car. or a driver.
we have nothing to cook with in our apartment. i'm expecting and counting on Bay to be back at a reasonable time so we can go to Aldi and get cheap good food. she comes back around 5 and leaves 30 minutes later telling me that she has some party shes going to in 15 minutes and can't go shopping.
i should know better than to rely on people...and if it wasn't so fucking cold i'd walk to the store. so what do i do? WALK TO DRUG MART!!! it's the closest and has the most grocery items. i grabbed the staples. milk, butter, creamer and stuff to make my soup with. i've been craving this soup for days. if only i could have gone to a real grocery i could have had fresh veggies, maybe some barley or alphabet pasta. *sigh* next time i guess.
can't rely on anyone Cate...you should know that by now.
time to go stir the soup.
