Super Long-Awaited Photos!!!
Long, long ago (June 2006!) in a galaxy far, far away (Pennsylvania)...
JoeCB got married!
The guy actually walked down the aisle to the tune of Darth Vader's Imperial March. I shit you not. For those of you who don't understand a bit of this post so far, allow me to fill in some backstory:
A long time ago, we used to have "8-Bit Get-Together" events every summer, where we'd meet up at JoeCB's house in Defiance, Ohio and hang out/have fun/go to Cedar Point. It was a great time for all, and T.J. is - to this day - one of the coolest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. We had great times at these meetings, and I certainly took a lot of pleasant memories from the experience.
Well, the time eventually came where T.J. found his significant other... or perhaps she found him. We'll just say they found each other. Liz was then to be married to T.J., in Pennsylvania (where he had moved to). It was a sad time and a happy time; it would be our last 8-Bit Get-Together (at least to this date), but it would mean the beginning of something new and wonderful for one of our own. I for one was honored to be a participant amidst the ceremonies.
For those who don't know them, I've taken the liberty of labeling the members of the 8-Bit Theater forums that were able to make it to the prestigious event:
And of course, a picture of the happy couple:
Mary (Leerie) was with us as well, but she's not in the photos above. (I listed JoeCB's cousin as her - that's what I get for uploading photos at 4 in the morning. Between the chair and the long hair, though, I can't really tell who that is. >_>) You can find her in such pictures as DSCF0125.jpg~
As you may notice from this, I did a lot of the picture-taking. There was one point where Zeth managed to get in a few shots of me in my blue shirt...and just when I thought I had dodged the bullet! (Come to think of it, perhaps he's the trigger-happy type. :P) There are a lot of good memories in these photos, and I'm ashamed that I'm just now getting around to uploading them. That being said, here they are:
