was going to go with mom New Years eve but she said she didnt want to end up crying on the holiday (after I let it slip that a number of the characters dont make it to the end of the movie)

ALthough I like the songs, thinking of the actual words of the lyrics made me realize that yes, they are rather depressing.

Ouch. Les Mis. Definitely not the musical for someone with survivor's guilt. Poor Finch and Carter, and poor Reese for having to pick up the pieces. Awesome ficlet. Cheers for posting.
