was trying to write an equalizer crossover where John and Mickey were in a bar talking about their favorite guns...Then Jayne would walk by and be drawn into the conversation, and they would all start comparing who's was bigger...
but it wasnt working so i cut it out into its own little snippet
(can you imagine the carnage of John, Mickey, and Jayne working together?)
I think it has been cited as an influence for POI:
from Wikipedia Robert McCall, one of the best covert operatives in the business became disenchanted with his work in a CIA-like organization known only as "the Company." Seeking redemption for some of his darker exploits, McCall resigned, and offered his services through newspaper ads to people in trouble, who were beyond the help of official channels, like the police. McCall used his skills in espionage and frequently enlisted the help of former colleagues still in the Company to get the job done. He also continued to maintain contact with his friend and former boss, a man known only as Control
he put an ad in the newspaper for people in trouble to call him.
'Got a problem? Odds against you? Need help? Call - The Equalizer'
Was a good show. Kind of gritty and dramatic, with some character development as well as action. Didnt have the rampant surveillance/paranoia of POI though.
