...better than the metallurgy book he had. Made me wonder if he had a dust jacket covering up a trashy romance novel or something under there

ROFL! That's a fic all on its own! Imagine Finch finding out!

"Finch, is not-"

"Mr Reese," Finch started, an arched eyebrow, looking down at Reese. "I wasn't aware a book like "Outlander" could be of interest to you. Perhaps if I had known before, I would have provided you with more suitables books for your taste, like "It Had To Be You" from Susan Elizabeth Phillips or perhaps "Twilight", that book most people seem to love these days. I would not call it literature, but there's no accounting for taste, I suppose."

Reese cleared his throat, trying uselessly to hide the book from Finch's sight. "Ah, do we have a new number, Finch?"

Finch watched him, the corner of his lips curled up. "Yes, as a matter of fact we do, but I'm sure it could wait until you finish your invaluable reading."

Sorry if there's any typo, but I couldn't resist. There's so many more ideas about this in my head right now. Awww, I can't!

Heh Heh. And John would have to sneak off and sit in the back of the theater to see the Twilight movies.

Question is, would Finch out him to Carter and Fusco or use it as blackmail material?

(also wonder what the others are reading)

As someone who is not fan, I sure hope John have better taste than that :P

I imagine Finch would save that tiny bit of information and bring it up when John least expect it, or when he tease him.

lol! I think Carter, much like Reese, would read romance novels and hide it too and Fusco... I'm not sure, humor books and maybe horror or sci-fi ones too. Not sure.

Maybe Fusco tries to maintain his average Joe persona by hiding his philosophy books under a "Big Book of Potty Humor" dust jacket.

lol! That's a rather clever view on Fusco, actually :)

he quietly comes through for them in a jam. Think he has helped rescue all of them by now. His superpower is being constantly underestimated -- he is smarter and braver than he seems

And he has a somewhat zen fatalistic outlook on life. Rolls with whatever is thrown at him

Ooh, that fits Fusco so, so well. Love it!
