Just wondering if I'm morbid. I'm am currently enthralled by Michael Ghiglieri's Off the Wall: Death in Yosemite. It's a fascinating study of the (mostly) accidental deaths in the park. I've never been to Yosemite and have always wanted to go, and as I read this I'm am scared to death of hiking some of the trails and seeing some of the sights! But it is a fascinating read. He has a similar one about the Grand Canyon, which our school secretary told me is also a great read--she said she read it while on a trip TO the Grand Canyon (another destination on my list of places to visit). That is also in my pile of books to read upstairs on the bookcase.
Not a good time for school to be starting!
