Biggest, most awesome news first: I'M GETTING MARRIED! WHOO! Two weeks ago, I proposed to Carley early in the morning, and she said "Yes!" :) As of right now, the date has been set for November 8th, 2008. So mark your calenders. It'll most likely be in Greensboro since it's a nice middlepoint for everyone that'll be attending, and we might be living there at that point. I'm so excited. I've dreamed of marrying her for months now, and I'm so glad and grateful that God chose her for me, and brought us together.
Work has been going preeeetty well. We lost another cafe person on Friday, but that just means more overtime for me (gotta look on the bright side)
Carley has a crazy schedule right now, totally full of work and school, but hopefully it'll let up in the next few weeks. I miss her a lot. I'm not used to being alone so much. But, hopefully (knock on wood) we will be financially stable pretty soon.
She did get me LOTR: Return of the King to watch today though so I wouldn't be bored, on top of buying power steering fluid for me because I didn't know if I could make it after work to Walmart. Now she's gotten me the entire trilogy! She's so great! I love you baby, thanks!
Carley turned 21 last week, and we had a great time. Her parents came down and we got an AC finally (Thank you God, I actually enjoy coming home after a long day at work now :-P) We also went to Harrah's and did a little bit of gambling. We both lost :( but it was fun times anyways.
I've been attending Men's Bible Study at Lifeway and LifeGroups pretty regularly and I'm really enjoying that. It's a totally different experience that Sunday service. Much more intimate and a lot more eye-opening in ways.
