Just sitting here waiting for Carley to get out of class, so I figured I would post a blog in the ongoing attempt to keep you all up to date on the goings-on of my life, especially since I am hardly ever online IM-wise anymore.
First off, the C&C/A7X concert was AWESOME! Absolutely amazing. I was correct in my prediction that "Welcome Home" live would be nearly orgasmic. When the solo came, I nearly lost my mind. So awesome, I looove live music. Avenged Sevenfold was awesome live as well. Much better than I actually predicted. It was great being in the crowd and being that close to the stage. Good going Neesy on making sure we got PIT tickets :-P Plus we got to spend time with Jess, which is always fun, and her kitty Jenny who is adorable even though she may be the spawn of satan :-P
When we got back to Cullowhee, and had a short lunch with Bobbi and Kaiden, Carley and I headed to Marion for Easter to spend time with my family and meet my awesome nephew Kayden. He is adorable, and so little, but he has my monkey hands and feet. Guitar is definitely in his future. It was nice spending time with everybody, and Carley plus five-day old infant equals immeasurable cuteness, just in case you were all wondering lol.
I've been working on quitting smoking (yes.. again) but I am doing much better this time around. No, I cannot make any outrageous claims that I haven't smoked in so many days, but I have seriously cut down. I only smoke one cigarette a day now. That is much better than a pack and a half I think. Carley is helping bunches. She is being very stern about not allowing me to give up on my quitting.
