ADMIN: New Posting Status For The Community
Hi guys. I come bearing unfortunate news. I have had to put the entire community on moderated posting because someone is not following the rules and is posting non-Wholock posts here. I apologize for this. Anyone who has an artist/author tag will be given unmoderated posting (because you've shown to me you can follow the rules) and everyone else from this point on will have to earn the privilege.
To reiterate: all posts made to this community must have a Wholock focus, which means they should involve at least one Sherlock character and one Whoniverse (Doctor Who/Torchwood/The Sarah Jane Adventures/other officially recognized works relating to Doctor Who such as the Big Finish audio plays) character. Writing a straight Sherlock or straight Whoniverse fic with an original character fancast as an actor from one of the other shows does not count; they are not playing their Sherlock or Whoniverse character and thus it is not Wholock fic.
Advertisements for general communites/big bangs/fic fests that allow Wholock submissions are always welcome despite not being Wholock-specific. Bringing up things about the actors relating just to Sherlock or just to the Whoniverse are also allowed (but please don't post anything about the actors on other projects, such as Martin Freeman's role in "The Hobbit" or Benedict Cumberbatch's role in "Star Trek Into Darkness"). Wholock crossovers with other shows is also permitted (seeing as how we've had Wholock/Luther fic posted here in the past). But posting fic/icons/meta that is just related to one show without mentioning the other is not allowed.
I will be posting the monthly character/episode choices shortly so we can all see if anything sparks our interest. ::lets everyone go back to their scheduled programming::
