scrappy packs for art journaling

Hey guys!

I realize I hardly ever post here anymore (you can find me at my blog), but since a lot of you guys are art journalers I thought maybe you'd be interested.

Basically, I've been collecting bits & pieces of things for art journaling and collage for a long, long time. So long that I literally have buckets full. I use them, and journal plenty, but not nearly often enough to go through everything that I have! And since I'm moving a in a couple weeks, I need to diminish my crazy huge stash a bit.

My problem is, I've collected a lot of things that I think are really beautiful - even if they are just catalogs, magazine pages, etc. And I don't want to just throw them out. So instead of throwing them out, I've put a bunch of stuff together in these 'scrap packs' in the hopes that other art journalers can take them home and put them to good use.

Basically, the packs include scrapbooking paper, magazine/catalog pages, and various small craft supplies that I could fit in the envelopes.

Here are some photos of what one of the pack might look like...

Here is what each packet contains, at least:
-Catalog pages (my fave catalogs have always been Anthropologie & Free People, so you can expect a couple pages from there)
-Magazine pages (I have never subscribed to any specific magazines, but pick them up at yard sales/thrift stores/library/recycling/etc. I have a lot of National Geographic so you will probably see some of that! I also have lots of decorating magazines, and a few fashion ones)
-Maps, train tickets, bus tickets, or other various travel things from my three months in Europe last year
-Bits of scrapbooking paper, some whole pieces, some not
-Some little supplies, such as...glitter, buttons, beads, charms, ribbon, tissue paper, paperclips, colored pencils, etc etc

Basically, I tried to put together a whole bunch of things that I would be really excited to find in my mailbox. I know that I would like receiving one of these; I hope you would too!

So...here's the deal: I am planning on charging $2.50 for a pack, plus $2.50 shipping (if I find out the shipping is less, I'll change it).

If you REALLY REALLY want one and you're really poor, let me know and we can probably work something out. I'm pretty broke, so it'd be nice to get the moneys, but as long as I can pay for shipping I don't really mind as long as you are going to use them!

Which brings me to my number one (and only) rule...if you get one of these from me and you don't like something, PLEASE DON'T THROW IT AWAY. My point in doing this is that I don't want to trash a bunch of stuff I thought was beautiful. If you don't like it, give it to someone else, sign up for a swap somewhere...at the very very least, recycle it!

So...if you'd like one...
