I would've hoped that I wouldn't need to make a warning like this, but here it is. A dangerous man has recently arrived. I can't give you the full details, as it's best that I don't. It'll be bad enough if he finds out I gave you a warning at all, but having that level of information could make anyone who sees this message a target. He has a way of finding out information by looking into someone's head. He's already messing with me, even as we speak. He'll seem charming, but he isn't.
I suppose I'm not making my point yet, am I?
This man goes by the name of Tom Riddle. He's acting like he's not a wizard, but it's a lie. But it makes sense. We're used to hiding who we are. The world wouldn't handle it very well. But he doesn't understand this situation, and that's a good thing.
But ... what I ask of everyone is that you don't take him into your own hands. The situation with him is dire, but it's one I need to handle. It's always been that way. That was his choice. If he asks questions about immortality and ways to live forever, tries to recruit you, or even be your friend, I would be wary. I wouldn't give him information.
He's young, yes, but he's dangerous. Don't ever forget that.
